Description:  Famed world over for its enticing earthy fragrance, “oudh”, or agarwood essential oil, is in fact obtained from infected tree bark and wood extracts, with the pure tincture being much more expensive than even gold. Only certain specific and old Agarwood trees contain this resin, making Oudh one of the most luxurious cosmetic extracts in the world.

All parts of the Agarwood tree can be used and are beneficial especially in the field of medicine. Agarwood has anti-cancer and anti-depression properties in its extract. In addition, agarwood leaves are also anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective. In Traditional Chinese medicine, Agarwood is considered stimulant, anti-asthmatic, carminative, tonic, aphrodisiac, astringent, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal. It is used in diarrhea, dysentery, gout, rheumatism and paralysis.

Oudh (Agarwood) oil possesses the quality of sealing in moisture, so as to intensely hydrate the skin. Using a oudh-based moisturizer daily vastly improves dry skin conditions without making it oily. The oil regenerates new healthy skin cells and diminishes signs of premature aging, wrinkles, and fine lines.  It can also minimize the visibility of stretch marks and sagging, as well as reduce acne. Oudh oil even retains the strength of collagen fibers in deeper layers of skin.
