CLAN MEIER DEGREED WITCHCRAFT CLASSES / WITCH SCHOOL / INITIATIONS

The Meier Tradition of Witchcraft initiation course series is the perfect way to foster a lifelong relationship with Spiritualism, restore a connection with the Spirit World as our Ancestors once did, connect with your Ancestors, build a relationship with the Elements of Nature, release old wounds, cultivate wisdom, gain the perspective needed to face today's challenging times, and employ practical methods of creating new realities. It is also an opportunity to be actively involved in a community of like-minded spiritualists and practitioners.

The path to Witch Priestess / Priesthood in the Meier Tradition of Witchcraft is an Intensive Program of Study that requires physical attendance (either live online or in person), active participation, required reading, practice, and journaling.

Online class size is limited to 39 students.

In-Person classes may be offered in the Akron / Canton Ohio area.

Online & In-Person Degree Registrations include free admission and access to in-person, online, live streamed, as well as recorded workshops and rituals.

Registered students are admitted to their level-appropriate private student FaceBook community.

Upon completion of each level, students also receive a password to access restricted content including the Clan Meier Herb Grimoire, Crystal Grimoire, Grimoire of Gods & Goddesses (of various pantheons), level-appropriate Book of Shadows, etc.

**NOTE : INITIATION UPON COMPLETION OF ANY COURSE IS NOT GUARANTEED! For initiation, full attendance and active participation is REQUIRED. Other factors considered are character, integrity, honesty, discretion, commitment, etc. Quizzes, exams, and practical testing will be administered. Interviews and essays may also be required.

Willa Lahhi has been a student of the Craft and Spiritualism for decades. She is also an Elder Clan Boskednan (Australia & England), as well as Priestess of Cabot Kent Hermetic Order (Salem, Massachusetts), Certified Master Reiki practitioner, ordained state of Ohio Licensed Minister, degreed in Social Work, Herbalist, member of MENSA.

• HIGH PRIESTESS / HIGH PRIESTHOOD WITCH CLASSES

High Priestess / High Priesthood training is invitation only and requires continued intensive magickal exercise, spellcrafting, as well as Shadow Work.

Also requires providing mentorship and active teaching of classes, demonstration of leading and guiding all levels of members, leading ritual, hosting community events, participating in lesson and education planning, financial management, etc.

This is a FREE 53-week mentorship, requires a high level of commitment, and initiation is NOT guaranteed.

INTRO, MEANING, CODE

We are a Pagan community focused on the acceptance of all spiritual beliefs, and accept al humans regardless of gender, color, race, ethnicity, age, religion, sexual orientation, etc. CODE : 1.) Be always true to yourself! Trust yourself. NEVER raise a hand against yourself. The Goddess/God may raise a hand to you and even destroy you, for the sake of learning on your journey. But YOU have no right to interfere or raise a hand against yourself! You will face many challenges given to you along your path. These lessons, should you heed them, will lead you to peace and freedom. 2.) We never accept bondage. We do not accept any outside contributions or any influences that would undermine our authority. 3.) Treat others as you would like to be treated. Be always true to your Sisters and Brothers within as well as outside of your Clan and Tribe. We place principles before personalities, abstaining from gossip and other behaviors that would undermine our Brothers and Sisters. 4.) We seek knowledge from the first day to the last, aspiring to discover new mysteries. We express our Tradition as an Art, a Science, and a Religion. 5.) We are not greater than others, neither are they greater than us. We seek the Light in all beings, respect all views and beliefs, and learn, and listen. We do not proselytize. • Clan Reverend Mother | Lady Willa Lahhi Sparrow | Clan Meier was founded and created by the Reverend Mother Willa Lahhi Sparrow as an organization open to all Pagan paths and traditions passed down through generations. Her traceable direct Maternal lineage (as well as majority of inherited DNA) comes from Bavaria (Bayern) and Baden-Württemberg areas of Germany, dating back to the 1600s. Bavaria was a center of witch-hunting and brutal trials during the 17th century (the “Bavarian Witch War”), with some of the highest death tolls in Europe. Her other dominant lineages trace back to early Belgium, England, France, and West Africa (primarily Nigeria). This diverse lineage gives rise to her immense curiosity and understanding of various Pagan traditions derived of different faiths. Thus Clan Meier was born to incorporate not specific ethno-centric philosophies, but many ancient world spiritual practices. Is Clan Meier a Cult?

A "Cult" is a group of people having beliefs or practices, especially relating to religion, that is regarded by others as strange or sinister or as imposing excessive control over members. A "Cult" has an authoritarian leader that creates misplaced admiration, and is a highly controlled organization that manipulates and controls members through coerciveness and absolute power and demand of loyalty without question or criticism. A "Cult" dictates how people think, dress, act, and feel. And "Cults" isolate members, and encourages them to cut ties with friends, family, and society. "Cults" claim to be an exculsive source of salvation and convinces recruits that the outside world is corrupt, hostile, and evil. Leaders exploit and take advantage of members financially, emotionally, and physically to benefit from personal power. Clan Meier does NONE OF THESE THINGS. There is certainly NO ABSOLUTE POWER. Not only do we DISCOURAGE ABSOLUTE POWER, but we ENCOURAGE PERSONAL POWER, INDEPENDENT THOUGHT, SELF-EXPRESSION, and HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, and NEVER EVER ASK for OR ACCEPT control of financial resources. Clan Meier also ENCOURAGES DIVERSITY and strives to cultivate UNDERSTANDING and COHESIVENESS with all schools of spiritual thought, while employing COMPASSION and EMPATHY for every single person's individual life experiences and personal path.

WITCHCRAFT vs. MAGIC vs. OCCULT vs. WICCAN vs. NEO-PAGANISM

Witchcraft focuses on a practical craft or skill to shape and manipulate energy to manifest change, welcoming anyone of any faith (or no faith at all) to practice. Witchcraft functions as a practice rather than a formal religion. Magic / Magick is a general method or action used to cause a change through hidden or unseen forces, the active engine behind witchcraft. The "occult" means "hidden" or "secret" knowledge and study (rather than practice). Wicca is a newly created practice of the 20th century that centers around a dual deity system (usually a Mother Goddess and Horned God), and follows a core moral code. And Neopaganism rebuilds and revives old, pre-Christian, nature-based, polytheistic practices that acts as an umbrella term for many diverse spiritual paths that embrace multiple gods or a sacred Earth rather than one single God.

Is Witchcraft Science or Religion?

Witchcraft is an ancient path with roots in the earliest cultures – a time when science, art, and religion were one. Witches act in balance with all three and use their magick in harmony with the Universe and Nature. Many interpret the practice of Witchcraft as a derivation of only European culture. However, many (if not most, or all) of those European practices grew from far more ancient spiritual practices in Africa and the Middle East. Clan Meier embraces these origins, as well as spiritual practices that evolved from them...from European Celtic to traditions brought to America, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, the Caribbean, etc. through slave migration. The Level 1 course explores this history and evolution, as well as an introduction to how Witchcraft as a religion blends with modern Science. Is Witchcraft simply Science that people still haven't figured out how to prove yet? Connection of Witchcraft with the more modern construct of the "Devil" didn't occur until the 1400s when Thomas Aquinas (among others) promoted that magic "could" involve collaboration with evil spirits. This helped spur panic and the witch trials, when for the predecing thousands of years, Witches had been venerated as wise figures and healers. Even as recent as 1962, a prominent female marine bioligist and conservationist that warned against synthetic pesticicides was accused of being a Witch and dismissed as being "hysterical".

Do Witches Do Evil?

Witches know that doing evil and harm is against the Universal law. Witchcraft tells us, “An ye harm none, do what ye will.” Witches see the Universe and all in it as magickal and able to provide for us and so we do not need or want to do harm.

Do Witches Worship the Devil?

Witches do not have a Satan, a Devil, or any evil deity in their pantheon. “Devils” belong to the Abrahamic religions, and “Satanism” is a derivation of Christianity, not Witchcraft. Witches know that hatred and harm derive from our own choices and from acting against the balance of the Universe. The word "Satan" actually translates to "adversary"...and in ancient Abrahamic texts there are several "Satans". In your studies, you may find some information quite surprising in this regard. Also, the word "demon" actually comes from the ancient word daimōn, which means a divine power, lesser god, or guiding spirit. The term was originally neutral and even benevolent, but the term shifted to mean an evil spirit during early Christian translations of scriptures...while the construction of the concepts of Abrahamic angels and saints were seemingly largely derived from the more ancient daimōn deities. Be wary of anyone that claims to be a Witch but is actually practicing Satanism (adversarial magic), as terminology is often confused and misinterpreted.

Do Witches Have a Goddess or God?

Many believe that the highest deity in Witchcraft is a feminine entity. However, true Witches honor both a Goddess and God as equal aspects of the Universal mind. Some may consider the masculine and feminine as separate. However, some realize that there are some of both aspects that live in any being. As with most deities, humans tend to have a more dominant feminine or masculine energy. The many Gods and Goddesses of Witchcraft are understood to be both Ancestral Spirits and manifestations of the Divine Feminine AND Masculine. In various world religions and spiritual practices, including Witchcraft, every individual person tends to identify more closely to a masculine or feminine energy or deity. However, Clan Meier does not in any way discriminate or steer gender energies in any person. Some deities are also gender-fluid (Loki for example). Every person has their own path and identifies most closely with either one deity, or perhaps multiple deities (depending upon their intentions), and perhaps with one energetic gender, or both. Remember that "creation" requires both the egg of the feminine and the seed of the masculine...not only for humans, but also for plants, flowers, trees, animals, etc. Clan Meier embraces the feminine as well as masculine aspects of Deity, as well as recognizes that some may possess aspects of both. Plants that possess both female and male parts (stamens that make pollen) are actually called a "Perfect Flower" (like lilies and roses). It is true that the Triple Goddess (the Maiden, Mother, Crone) is representative of the cycle of life...and is highly revered and respected. However, it is also understood that the masculine aspects of the divine are equally important.

Honestly, many Witches actually do curses and hexes. However, Clan Meier strongly discourages such practices. Much like a forensic scientist or investigator must understand methods employed by criminals in order to track and subvert their efforts, it is important to understand dark magic in order to identiify, understand, and know how to counteract malevolent energies and intentions. For this reason, we DO teach dark magic theory and spellcraft. However, only for the purposes of protection and defense. This may be in form of banishing, repelling, cord-cutting, binding, etc. (and sometimes reversing and deflecting). But Clan Meier in no way encourages practice of dark magic for the purposes of cursing or hexing. Remember the Law of Return. More is learned about curses and hexes during the third level of course work.

Do Witches Cast Spells?

A spell is a thought, projection, prayer, or manifestation. Other religions use prayer, meditation, ritual, and even the “law of attraction” to get results. Spells do not imply harm. "Spell" is simply another word for "prayer", that sometimes incorporates candles, crystals, and other energetic items to support manifestation of the intention.

Do Witches Make Sacrifices?

Witches do not sacrifice animals or people. All life is magickal and sacred. The Universe provides what we need and our Gods do not require sacrifice. Thus, Witches have no need to take the life of another for our magick to work. The philosophy of "sacrifice" derives from the Universal law that in order to gain something, something else must be given up. This is typically true. If you choose to invest more time into improving your health and working out at the gym...well, then you're sacrificing the time you have otherwise spent on other things. If you decide to pursue a new personal relationship, you'll certainly sacrifice the time you've spent on other activities in order to divert attention. Everything that is taken requires a give. That does not in any way mean sacrifice of life. Did ancient cultures make blood and life sacrifices? Well, yes they did. One example of the fruits of life sacrifice is "Super Dirt" (also known as "Terra Preta") found in the Amazon. This dirt was intentionally made by ancient indigenous civilizations between 500 to 2,500 years ago. They mixed poor tropical clay with slow-burned charcoal, animal and human "meat" (from ritual sacrifices), animal and human manure, fish bones, blood, and broken pottery shards over hundreds and thousands of years. As a result, these products decomposed and mixed with the soil to form an incredibly fertile "super" soil. Today, plants grown in this super dirt grow up to SIX TIMES taller and produce DOUBLE or TRIPLE the crop yeild compared to other dirts world-wide. Today's scientists have exhaustingly tried, but have been unable to recreate this phenomena. It's not surprising then why ancient civilizations believed that sacrifices were required by the gods...and this is largely one example of where the concept of "sacrifice" and its juxtaposition with witchcraft has been derived.

Pentacle vs. Pentagram vs. Six-Rayed Star

Sacred geometry shapes are linked to ancient symbolism. Pentagrams represent the macrocosm governing the microcosm, protection and integration of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit. It encloses, binds, focuses, and protects...representing the dominance of the spiritual objective over physical matter. The Pentacle/Pentagram "houses" energy, grounding it into a structural container, so it operates like a battery and is a source of power, while also providing Universal protection. The Pentagram is a five-rayed star, the Pentacle that star within a Circle. They are essentially the same. But the star within the Circle also acts as a boundary that holds the intention inside and in a self-contained "Universe'. The Circe acts as a guard from outside influence and locks intentions and energies inside it so it builds power instead of leaking out, while also providing protection for the practitioner. Six-rayed structures reflect natural harmony, cosmic order, and the fundamental patterns of life. They anchor your personal intent into broader cosmic laws of stability and balance.

Do Witches Wear Black?

Why Do Witches Wear Black?

Witches know that every color has power, and often do wear black. Black absorbs the spectrum of light, which carries information and helps Witches to be better psychics. However, at the same time, black is also a highly protective color, blocking harmful energies while doing spirit work. You may notice that people that are highly sensitive or empathic tend to wear black. This is because it is shielding from harmful and toxic energies, making it especially protective for people that are spiritually sensitive. Ritual robes, capes, and other seemingly outlandish black attire draws the Spirit while also being highly spiritually protective, which is why religious and magickal leaders throughout time (including Priests, Pastors, Nuns, etc.) often wear black and have dressed differently from most other people. But do ALL Witches wear black? Certainly not! Again, colors have power and influence. There is a reason why presidential candidates wear either red or blue accessories (usually on their black suits). More is learned about colors and their influence in courses.

Do Witches Use Magic Wands?

The use of magick wands in children’s cartoons and movies can make their use seem frivolous. In actuality, the Witch’s wand is used for focusing magickal intent, directing energy, and in healing.

What Kind of People Are Witches?

Witches come from every walk of life, every socio-economic and ethnic background. Many Witches hold professional positions of responsibility. They are doctors, nurses, politicians, lawyers, and teachers. Some practice the profession of Witchcraft as full-time clergy. Witchcraft does not discriminate against color or ethnic origin and views every living being as equal. You may encounter some that are firm in their beliefs about being blood, generational, etc. However Clan Meier strongly opposes discrimination and welcomes seekers and practitioners from all walks of life. There are many, many pantheons dating back to ancient times (including, unknown to many that consider themselves "Celtic", of which there are 7 or more variations...i.e, P-Celtic, Q-Celtic, Italic, Gallic, Iberian, Nordic, etc.), NeoPagan, Caribbean, Cuban, Greco-Roman, West African, Middle Eastern, Judaic, Native American, etc. etc. We believe that no one regional practice is more valid than another. Not only are all perspectives welcome, but are encouraged...as learning about and understanding our sisters and brothers in the Universe, in this Earthly realm, and in this life, is an incredible gift.
